Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Bijay Shrestha, but friends call me Prince.
I believe every student deserves a strong voice and a vibrant university experience. You deserve a President who builds solutions, not just talks about them. My time as a Student Representative has been dedicated to fast-tracking student complaints directly to the authorities who can fix them.
Through founding Careerlift UK, I gained first-hand experience in solving real student problems—like finding housing and jobs. That experience taught me how to navigate complex systems and turn a "No" into a "Yes."
Now, I want to bring that same problem-solving energy to the GSU to work for you.

💡 The Plan: We need to cut waiting times. The focus will be on launching 'Drop-in Wellbeing Clinics' for immediate support—so you don't have to wait weeks just to talk to someone—and introducing 'De-stress Zones' on campus during assignment weeks.

💡 The Plan: It is time for a "President's Question Time"—a monthly open forum (live-streamed) to answer your questions directly, alongside a simple "You Said, We Did" tracker on the GSU website.
💰Battling the Cost of Living

💡 The Plan: The priority will be fighting for expanded "Value Meal" options in campus canteens and cultural cuisines. Additionally, using the Careerlift UK platform, we will work to secure affordable accommodation benefiting for students.
